I love my job!

Being up there shooting with the ADAC Air Rescue Team in the Bavarian Alps on monday was amazing! But getting winched down and landing on some really exposed crag while shooting at the same time…was something unexpected and new to me as well!

…rollin’ rollin’ rollin’…

…finally out riding my “Simson Schwalbe” to office again! And with this panoramic view in front of me…going to office isn’t really that bad! Sometimes i wish i had a GoPro though…riding onehanded while holding the iPhone with the other hand isn’t all that easy!

We…

…are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love… and then we return home. - Australian Aboriginal saying

…got myself a nice sunburn…

…shooting with Marie Klietz and the rest of the Asics Training Squad for Asics, Men’s Health and Women’s Health on Fuerte Ventura…nice finally getting some summer vibes and getting rid of that pale white winter skin though! And at least i’m not the only one looking like a tomato today…

Doors of Perception

“If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is: infinite.” - William Blake to Nobody in the movie “Dead Man” by Jim Jarmusch

…if you haven’t seen that movie yet…you should!

Powder…

“There is nothing in the world like going out onto an untouched, open, virgin mountain slope drenched under a thick blanket of new powder snow. It gives a supreme feeling of freedom, mobility. A great sense of flying, moving anywhere in a great white paradise.” – Hans Gmoser, September 1974

A lake…

…is the landscape’s most beautiful and expressive feature. It is earth’s eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature. - Henry David Thoreau

…is that what Peter Schlickenrieder was thinking while standing there???
