Testing the new Sony Alpha 7R Mark III

That’s me. Testing the new Sony 7R III. I used to work with Nikon in the analogue times. Then came the switch to digital, where, in the beginnings, it always seemed Canon was a bit ahead of Nikon, so i switched. That was about 13 years ago. Now there’s brands like Sony and Fuji changing the game. Even Olympus seems to be back all of a sudden! And Canon, even more so than Nikon (who just came out with what seems to be great camera, the D850), seem to be sleeping! I was testing the new Sony 7R Mark III for the last couple of days…and i was really impressed! Where the Mark II was still too slow, the battery too small and the menu and buttons too complicated and not adjustable…all that has now been improved in the Mark III. And i love it. And i ordered it. :-)

Here’s a few shots from running around testing.

A short trip to Mallorca!

Never been here at this time of the year before! Especially this spot here, a famous one for Deep Water Soloing I’ve been shooting at a few times for various magazines…all empty now! But then I guess…who’d wanna fall in with air temperatures around 10°C plus wind chill anyways? :-)

Iceland!

The Sport Conrad Winter Catalogue 2017/2018, shot in Iceland and in a barn in Bavaria, is out now! What a trip to beautiful Iceland that was…with too little snow, way too much wind and then even heavy rain in the end! Thanks to my whole amazing team for doing such a great job despite the weather conditions!!! Here’s a little iPhone-made behind-the-scenes-video of that trip.

Check my gallery for images from that shoot and the Sport Conrad Homepage viewing the whole catalogue!

ZARGES!

One of those clients i really loved to shoot for! Loving their products, especially their boxes! Using quite a few of those for my equipment, so i can honestly say i really enjoyed shooting the Ad Campaign for them! ;-)

Very excited…

…unboxing and testing the new DJI Phantom 4 Pro! Been playing around with the Mavic Pro, and still love it! But shooting aerials with 20 Megapixels…was just way too tempting!
